Current position:

  • Senior Director of Cultural Arts, JCC of Metro Detroit
  • Directed the Detroit Jewish Book Fair, the Detroit Jewish Film Festival, and a continuous speaker series.
  • Led transition to digital/online programming for JCC during COVID, as measured by audience retention and growth, by quickly creating online programs, producing multiple programs per week for several months, doing significant community outreach, and providing technical support and guidance for our tech-averse audience.
  • Engaged community, as measured by reaching roughly 25,000 people per year, by planning and executing over 100 cultural events per year.
  • Led team to raise and manage a budget of $300,000 per year by building and managing community and donor relationships and partnerships.
  • Hired speakers and presenters by negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Improved public perception of the JCC and Cultural Arts department by developing brands, overseeing marketing campaigns, and managing public communications. 
  • Improved the JCC’s standing in various trade associations by serving as a thought leader and resource for colleagues at other sites.
  • Generated new audiences for programs by collaborating with other departments and community organizations.
  • Increased audience engagement through data-driven program analysis.
